日本TELEC認證，《無線電法》要求，對指定的無線電設備進行型號核準（即技術法規符合性認證）。認證是強制性的，認證機構為MIC在指定無線電設備范圍認可的注冊認證機構。TELEC（Telecom Engineering Center）是日本無線電設備符合性認證的主要的注冊認證機構。
(1) TELEC認證標準
認證的技術標準參見其網上技術法規符合性認證系統中的所列出的指定無線電設備的分類和技術標準。值得注意的是，這些技術標準與《無線電法規》（Radio Regulatory Commission Rules No. 18）的技術要求有差異時，以《無線電法規》為準。
(2)認證類型
TELEC認證包括測試認證（Test Certification）和型式認證（Type Certification）。測試認證是針對每一個設備單元進行驗證，該認證只對每一個經過了驗證的設備單元有效；
WiFi和Bluetooth產品其的測試項目基本上與歐標的EN300 328類似.
其中2.4GHz WiFi產品（802.11b/g，2412~2472 MHz）和Bluetooth產品使用的標準為MIC Notice No.88 Annex43，但是對于2.4GHz WiFi產品的14信道（Channel 14：2471 ~ 2497MHz）則需要單獨使用Annex44進行測試和出具報告，相應的規費也需要增加。
對于5GHz WiFi產品（802.11a，5180~5320MHz，W52 Band和W53 Band）遵循的測試標準為Annex45，但是需要注意的是，資料顯示，MIC近期將會修改Annex45，將5.6GHz設備（Band W56）也歸入Annex45，并且對Band 56頻段有更加嚴格的DFS測試要求。

日本TELEC認證申請流程
（1）遞交申請表到實驗室，準備樣品，簽訂合同并支付預付款。
（2）測試并出報告，初步審核資料，時間：2周。
（3）最終審核、發證，客戶支付尾款。時間：1-2周。
